Official Transportation Partner

Camp Chalupa at the Bulldog Farm

Every summer our yellow buses head out to Camp Chalupa at the Bulldog Farm, which is about the happiest place in the tri-state area. Campers start the day with a bulldog on the bus and end it with more bulldogs at the farm. Science still has no way of measuring that much joy.

If you're a Camp Chalupa family, we handle the routes, pickup times and the very important job of telling your kid to sit down, nicely. The bulldog handles morale.

Meet the Crew

Our bulldogs: highly trained in being adorable

Every bulldog in our crew is vet-checked, temperament-tested, kid-tested, and has passed our very hard Can You Sit Still For Four Minutes evaluation. (Most of them passed.)

Camp Counselor in Training

Rides the Camp Chalupa route every summer. Specialties: sing-alongs, sniffing backpacks, and keeping the after-lunch nap going.

The Serious Part

We joke about bulldogs. We don't joke about safety.

  • Licensed, professional drivers. All are CDL-certified, background-checked, drug-tested and trained. None of them are dogs.
  • Inspected and maintained. Every bus meets NY and CT DOT inspection requirements.
  • Healthy, happy bulldogs. Vet-checked, vaccinated, groomed often, and never asked to work in the heat. They get breaks, water, A/C and a lot of naps.
  • Allergy friendly options. Tell us ahead of time and we'll arrange a deep-cleaned, dog-free bus. The bulldog will miss you, but they'll understand.
  • Bulldogs ride in their own spot. Each dog has a safe, secured seat. Saying hi is encouraged. Running down the aisle is not, for kids or for dogs.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask us

Wait, there's really a bulldog on every bus?

Yes, really. Every bus, every trip. It's our whole thing. If you book a bus and no bulldog shows up, something has gone very wrong and we'd like to hear about it right away.

Can I pet the bulldog?

Please do. That's why they're there. Ask the driver first if you're not sure, and let them come to you. Most of our bulldogs will flop over for belly rubs before you finish asking.

Can I request a specific bulldog?

You can ask, and we'll try our best. Fair warning: Duchess Snortington is booked solid for wedding season through next year.

What if someone in our group is allergic or afraid of dogs?

No problem. Let us know when you book and we'll send a deep-cleaned, dog-free bus. Everybody should get to ride comfortably.

Do you handle school district and private school contracts?

We do. We run daily routes, field trips, athletics and late buses for schools all over Westchester and Fairfield. Reach out and we'll put together a proposal (with a photo of the bulldog, of course).

Can the bulldog come to the wedding reception?

The bulldog would love to, but union rules say the bulldog stays with the bus. They'll be right outside waiting for photos, though. Bulldogs are very photogenic.

How far ahead should I book?

For prom and wedding season (April–June and September–October), book as early as you can. For everything else, 2–4 weeks ahead is usually fine. We'll always try to make last-minute trips work too.
